Our mission at Dr. Francisco Martinez’s Pediatrics is to provide the highest quality care for your children. But for families with children who have special health care needs, we go a step further, providing information and access to medical and community resources that will help transform our practice from a friendly pediatrician’s office, into a medical home for you and your child.

We are your partners, here to help give you the information, insight, and attention you need to be reassuring and supportive of your child and their needs. We will monitor the overall health and wellness of your child beyond our routine services, coordinating with you on every aspect of your child’s care, within our office, and in the world, ensuring the best possible life for them.

During office hours you can call the office landline at (516) 223-3195. A member of our staff will take your call and direct you in addressing your health care concerns. Our staff will do their best to accommodate your needs and make appointment scheduling prompt and easy. In addition, any clinical requests will be documented as a telephone encounter, so that if necessary your call can be routed to the doctor. We make it our duty to track every call we receive so that you can expect exemplary medical service and prompt responses to your concerns around the clock.

Same-Day Appointments:

Our scheduling system is flexible enough to handle emergency situations, amidst our routine daily appointments. If all of our flexible slots are taken, you will be placed on a waiting list, and in the event of a cancellation, you will receive a call alerting you to the vacancy so that we can accommodate you sooner.

After Office Hours:

In an effort to provide the best possible health care services, lines of communication between our office and you, our patients, remain open even after the clinic has closed. For your convenience, we have appointment time slots available outside of our regular business hours. We are open on:

Monday: 5-6 pm

Tuesday: 5-7 pm

Wednesday: 5-6 pm

Thursday: 5-7pm

Friday: 5-6 pm

During off-hours, you may still contact Dr. Martinez by calling the office landline at (516) 223-3195. All of the calls we receive are automatically transferred to Medico Solutions, where representatives work alongside us to make sure that all urgent matters are attended to.

The Madams Calling Center will properly direct you in solving any problem; including rerouting urgent calls directly to Dr. Martinez's private line, allowing him to address your concerns via telephone consultation when the office is closed.

There you may request an appointment, prescription refills, referral requests, as well as test results. Our office staff will comply with all requests within 4 business days.
